Why I Joined Poofy Organics

Back in February of 2021 I discovered a little company with a whole lot of products and a kind of funny name…Poofy Organics. I was immediately drawn in by the founder’s story.

The company began in 2006 after her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The family was determined to stop using products that were full of toxic chemicals. Unable to find suitable alternatives, they made it their mission to find the safest and most effective ingredients to make their own and began offering them to others at affordable prices.

This was a match made in heaven for me since my mission is to find the safest, most effective, and affordable (in that order) products for my family and to share them with others. After deciding to partner with Poofy as a Guide (that’s what the representatives are called), I learned there was SO much more to love!

  1. Products ARE the top focus. You know that old saying…The grass is always greener on the other side? Well, within the last few months, that concept started rearing it’s ugly head in my head. I started to think that with as much as we are now hearing about “clean beauty, etc.” surely there must be other products out there that are comparable to Poofy’s. So I began a major research project…I really delved into the companies and products that were claiming to be clean and I looked into the ingredients. I was shocked at what was being claimed as “clean.” Holy moly! No thank you! There were so many products that I would not want touching my skin and that I definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone else. This led me back to determining what it is that makes Poofy products so special and here’s what I found:
    • First of all, it makes me happy to say that there are companies out there that are truly making an effort to provide clean products. However, I couldn’t find another company that offers as many different toxin-free products and product lines as Poofy. They have a very large and nearly complete selection of personal care, makeup, skin care, home, and more products. There really is something for everyone and every age.
    • I also couldn’t find another company that offers as many USDA Certified Organic products (currently 129) as Poofy. FYI, regular ol’ organic is NOT the same as USDA Certified Organic. In a nutshell, to be certified is a NEVER ending process that includes a HUGE book of rules that must be known and followed and a product must be AT LEAST 95% organic to receive the USDA Certified Organic seal.
    • Poofy products are made in the USA, made fresh by hand, in small batches, hand poured and hand labeled.
    • Poofy products are 100% gluten free, certified cruelty free, and many are vegan.
    • Poofy promises to avoid toxic ingredients such as synthetic fragrance, parabens, triclosan, PEGs, triehanolamine, oxybenzone, GMOs and other harmful chemicals. Products are fragranced only with essential oils, extracts and hydrosols.
    • Poofy’s goal is to have minimal impact on the environment with recyclable and biodegradable packaging.
    • The customer prices are incredibly reasonable for USDA Certified Organic, handmade products. Even better, Poofy gives Guides the products at wholesale price, which is the true cost of making the products and bringing them to market.
  2. Team building is NOT the top focus. I have always loved the lack of focus on building a team with Poofy. I have had experience with more than my share of direct sales companies that provide relentless, pushy training on how to recruit every family member, friend and person you ever have contact with. No “Hey Girl Hey”-ing is being taught here.
  3. New ownership. A little over a year ago Poofy entered an era of new ownership. The new owners have chosen the word ELEVATE as their word for 2024. This year they have big plans to make Poofy Organics a household name and to elevate the customer experience. Phase 1 is complete with the March 1st release of a brand new, BEAUTIFUL website that is much easier to navigate. You can take a look at it here.
  4. Small company. Poofy is still a small company and with just over 300 Guides it is definitely not a saturated market. There is so much potential here to be the first to introduce others to the products and business opportunity.
  5. Low business requirements. There are just two fees to get started as a Poofy Guide – a one time payment of $9.95 to join plus a $9.95 per month fee for your website. The only other requirement is that you sell $200 worth of product in a 4 month period to remain active. There is no expensive join kit, no need to keep inventory on hand (unless you want to), and no required auto ship plans.

Do you share my mission of finding the safest, most effective, and affordable products for you and your family and sharing them with others? I would LOVE to have you on my team!
